Julia Blackwell is a 200h Yoga Teacher and is registered with the Canadian Yoga Alliance. Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and inclusive for varying needs and abilities. Julia has a warm and calm presence which helps to provide a safe and welcoming space for both virtual and in-person yoga and meditation sessions.
Julia is trained in various yoga styles (hatha, vinyasa, and restorative), mindfulness, meditation and Qi-Gong.
In addition to being a yoga instructor, Julia is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor and trained in Integrative Somatic Therapy (i.e. includes yoga and breathwork). With her therapeutic background, Julia offers a unique practice that is beneficial not only for physical health, but also for one's mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
